Keanu Reeves has a love/hate relationship with fame.

While promoting the independent film “Generation Um…,” Reeves told CNN, “You want to have privacy, but then you also want to be in the public.”

“I don’t necessarily correlate a paparazzi picture or a guy at a gas station with wanting to go see a movie,” he continued.

The actor also made headlines earlier this week when the trailer for his directorial debut, “The Man of Tai Chi,” hit the Web.

Also due out this year is Reeves’ “47 Ronin,” directed by Carl Rinsch.

But it’s not just the 48 year old’s own projects that he has to look forward to.

It was recently announced that Ericson Core (“Invincible”) will direct the impending “Point Break” remake. (Reeves starred in the 1991 version alongside Patrick Swayze.)

When asked if he’s in favor of Hollywood remaking the Kathryn Bigelow thriller, Reeves replied, “Absolutely. Vaya con dios!” – a Spanish phrase that translates to “Go with God.”

“It was great to be a part of that,” he added. “I think if you’re in something, hopefully they tell a good story.”

Shitty quality photo because they didn’t allow flash photography, but can I just say, Keanu Reeves must be a god damn GIANT? This mannequin was a good head taller than me, and the coat STILL drags on the bottom of the case. On film, it only fell to the man’s ankles.
